EF Commander 7.04 is an all-in-one file explorer for Windows computers. Since version 3.0, it also supports Windows CE PDA's, which is great. But, in short, EF Commander is a file explorer enriched with hundreds of features that usually are found in separate applications. Of course, the main use of EF Commander is to manage your files and folders on your hard drive and any device connected to your computer. But also, it helps out by having other features. EF Commander has a media player built-in which can play most files on the background. It also has a file-checker which can verify the integrity of files on-the-fly. If you usually use FTP clients, you will like to hear that EF Commander has its own FTP client, and it seems to be really fast. On top of that, the application has a viewer for pictures, videos, and even has a text and HEX editor. The use of all these features is possible in part because of its tabbed interface and the double-pane design. It seems like there are hundreds of features, but the one I like the most is the sync feature. It allows you to select a bunch of folders and sync your laptop with your desktop computer automatically. If you are serious enough about managing your files, EF Commander is worth a try. |
